USODA 2010 Team Trials - Day 3 Update

Another windy day in Houston - with 4 more races bringing the total to 12 over 3 long days! It also meant the 2nd throw out kicked in, which made for lots of changing places.

Harry is now in 4th, tied with Richard Schuurmans with 28 points, and 9 points ahead of 5th place Duncan Williford. (Top 5 qualify for Worlds)

Harry had finishes of 2, 2, 2, (19). Richard had an amazing day with three bullets and a 3rd, which moved him way up. And Chris Williford, having dropped his second OCS, rocketed up to 2nd overall with a 3, 3, 1, 7 today.

Drew had a very good day (1, 9, 3, 13) and moved way up from 22nd to 10th, Will Logue from 40th up to 33rd (11, 6, 5, 17) , and Augie from 49th to 41st (3, 12, 14, 17). Megan won her first team trials race, passing 6 sailors on the final beat, in the gusty big air in the last race.

All this contributed to Harry moving down from 2nd to 4th, Malcolm from 9th to 11th, Ty from 10th to 15th, Megan from 11th to 16 (but retaining her #1 girl position), Jack from 16th to 22, and Reinier from 19th to 27.

The breeze was mainly 10-12 for the first three races, then piped up to 15-18, for the final race.
