LISOT's Harry Koeppel Finishes 2nd at USODA New England's in Newport

LISOT's Harry Koeppel bettered 322 boats to finish 2nd overall in the largest Opti regatta this year in the United States. Equally exciting, Drew Gallagher was right behind him in 5th.

After two great days of racing, mother nature shut down the wind on the final day and made the RC's job rather challenging. But they were able to get off 1 race before the afternoon deadline.

A big congratulations to overall regatta winner Andy Widmeier from Brant Beach YC who has also sailed with LISOT in the past, along with his sister Maddie.

Head Coach Pepe Bettini and coach Marcos Lamas were instrumental in keeping the kids focused and aware of the tricky full-moon currents.
